Order your books now
On January 5th 2010, The State and University Library and a number of university libraries (see list) are changing their automated library systems. As a result some of the library functions will be affected. Below you’ll find the most important dates for the implementation process.
Remeber to backup your check list in the search system. It may disappear with the system change.
- November 1st The State and University Library and the university libraries recommend their users to start ordering books and other materials in November.
- December 1st If you order materials from other libraries later than December 1st you cannot be certain that the State and University Library and the involved libraries can function as pick-up library.
- December 22nd The last day you will be able to order books before the new system is operational. Please notice that the ordering will shut down at 4 pm.
- December 23rd The library system closes. You can however still use the electronic resources. All material ordered before December 23rd can be picked up until January 4th 2010.
- December 23rd Ordering- and status information cannot be accessed until the new system is in use.
- January 6th The new system is operating, but you may expect delays during the first month.
